Content Tips & Strategy

Make content that wins.

Your entry counts more when it feels real. Here is how to make a video people actually watch, and one we would be proud to share.

The one rule

Post the video you'd post even if there were no prize.

If it feels like a genuine "I love this" moment, you're doing it right. If it feels like "please pick me," start over. Authentic videos get more views, which helps you win and helps them travel.
The playbook

Seven things that make it land.

You don't need fancy gear or a big following. You need to be real, clear, and yourself.

1

Open with a moment, not your name

Skip "hi, my name is." Start mid-routine or with a real thought: the first time this bar changed your shower, or why it's the one thing you repurchase. The first three seconds decide if anyone keeps watching.

2

Show it, don't just say it

Film yourself actually using it. The lather, the texture, your shelf, your morning. Real hands and a real bathroom beat a perfect studio every time.

3

Talk like you're telling a friend

Say why you love it in your own words. What changed, how it fits your day, the one thing you'd tell someone on the fence. Honest always beats salesy.

4

One real reason beats ten features

Don't list everything. Pick the single thing you genuinely love and lean all the way into it. That's what people remember.

5

Good light, clear sound, vertical

Face a window for soft natural light, speak up so we can hear you, and film full-screen vertical for TikTok and Reels. That's 90% of "good quality."

6

Keep it short and human

Fifteen to thirty seconds is plenty. A short, warm, real video will always outperform a long, stiff one. Don't overthink it, just press record.

7

Post to both TikTok and Instagram

Put it up as a TikTok and an Instagram Reel, and keep both accounts public so we can find and verify it. Same video, two places.

Need a starting line? Try one of these
"Nobody told me a bar of soap could do this..."
"POV: you finally found the skincare you actually stick with."
"Get ready with me, but make it my honest KayNaturalz routine."
"The one product I'd repurchase forever, no exaggeration."
"Three weeks in, and here's what my skin actually feels like."
Keep it honest

The one line to include.

Because there's a prize involved, add a light, honest note in your caption so you're covered. It keeps the video organic while being upfront.

A caption that works
"Sharing my honest favorite from @kaynaturalz 🤎 entering their giveaway but I'd post this either way. #KaynaturalzPartners"
Tag @kaynaturalz, use #KaynaturalzPartners, and keep it real. That single line is all the disclosure you need.
What to avoid
  • Opening with "I'm entering a giveaway, please pick me"
  • Reading off a script or sounding like an ad
  • Fake hype for a product you haven't really used
  • Setting your account to private (we can't verify it)
  • Deleting your post before August 28
